Unity between Christians and Muslims is possible. In the eyes of their followers, Jesus and Muhammad are among the two most beloved figures in human history. Yet deep antagonisms and misinformation have divided these two great faith communities. Is there a realistic path to reconciliation? By dispelling negative misconceptions and exploring the surprising parallels between the teachings of Jesus and Muhammad, new possibilities emerge for reframing their relationship. These two leaders both arose from humble beginnings and illumined the masses as ethical educators, peacemakers, and builders of civilization.

If you didn't think it was possible ... it is!

Review by G S Mathison on 1/21/2026

Author Ted Brownstein's latest book, 'Baha'i Keys: Reconciling Jesus and Muhammad', is a wonderful companion to his prior book, 'Kinship of the Bible and Qur'an'. Ted's ongoing commitment to Interfaith work reveals itself in these books, as well as his very popular 'Interfaith Prayer Book'. Here, he accomplishes what some might say is the impossible: reconciling apparent differences between the teachings of these two Manifestations of God by referencing Baha'i Writings and teachings as the bridge, revealing that there is really no difference...and providing the contexts and relevant sources for checking out on one's own. While written for the average reader, the author provides sufficient source citations for those of a more scholarly bent. The book's chapters and overall organization provide a helpful flow to build a clear understanding of the overall unity across these faith traditions and their respective Founders. The Appendices are extremely helpful, as well. Recommend!
